Aisha jamila Hinds was born in America, and is most well-known for her performance on The Shield. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has proven her versatility in acting by giving outstanding performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground was likewise highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the third season of 9-1-1. In the last few days, Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is scheduled for release by mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj was an Army scientist, who died on March 18 2017 and his mom Vrinda is a domestic worker. Bachchan had a popular acting career with her roles in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). The success of Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both films were a departure from the traditional Bollywood format. Through her stunning portrayal of the jilted lover Paro In Devdas (2002) an extremely viewed Bollywood films and the first film to screen in the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented her place as the new queen of Bollywood. The film received a lot of praise for her performance on the screen in Chokher Bali (2003), a dramatic drama based upon RabindranathTagore's novel. In the same year she became an the only Indian actress to join the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The beauty and star power of Bachchan were brought to the first English-language major film. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood by starring in the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April 2007. He's a Bollywood star and regular co-star.
