Aisha jamila Hinds was born in America, and is most well-known for her performance on The Shield. Since her first appearance in 2003 she has proven her versatility in acting by giving outstanding performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. However, it was her performance of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the biopic All the Way, which gave her the respect she deserved as an actress. Hind's portrayal as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground was likewise highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the third season of 9-1-1. In the last few days, Hind completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters which is scheduled for release by mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj was an Army scientist, who died on March 18 2017 and his mom Vrinda is a domestic worker. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood by starring in the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April 2007. He's a Bollywood star and regular co-star.
